This is the pile (so far) of willow from the most recent copping in Willow Field. This pile will dry here until the autumn when we will hire in a big chipper for a few hours to turn all this, and the hazel pile in Willow Field into chips as next year’s supply for the wood chip boiler – more about energy use at Wakelyns here.
