Here Jannine will be making juice.

In previous years, our apples have gone as far away as Manningtree to be made into juice (for lack of an organic juicer nearer), which added cost, fuel, CO2, etc, all unnecessarily.

With help from a Government grant via Mid Suffolk District Council, we have now purchased the equipment, including a juice press, to do it on site in these two shipping containers.

Jannine will be juicing our produce (hopefully not just apples, maybe also plums etc) for part of the season, then offering a juicing service to other people for the rest of the season.

That way we get zero-mile Wakelyns Organic Apple Juice (and more!)
