Kitty Wilson Brown invites you to come to Wakelyns for a two day course, learning to naturally dye yarn and weave a tapestry.

On the first day, Saturday 12 October, you will learn how to dye yarn such as hemp, flax and wool using plants from Kitty’s natural dye garden including indigo, coreopsis, marigold and hemp leaf. After lunch we sit down to design our tapestry with the colours we’ve produced.

On the second day, Saturday 19 October, after learning basic weave and tapestry techniques you will create your own design, using your own dyed yarn.

Lunch will be included on both days, using produce that is organically grown at Wakelyns.
