This little weather station measures and logs windspeed and direction, humidity, sunshine, rainfall and atmospheric pressure.

The data is downloaded and used by the Organic Research Centre team as one of the inputs for the Agromix project which is modelling agroforestry systems across the EU. More information here.

We are also working with Catherin Sebastian from Sussex University who are looking into using satellite imagery to remotely measure soil moisture and carbon sequestration. First off, they need to calibrate their models using weather data and direct soil samples. See here
