The core takeaway from the ‘Martin Wolfe memorial symposium‘ (which we hosted as his death bed request) was that we should evolve Wakelyns up as a hub of ideas and action around food, farming and the environment built around the Wakelyns core of organic agroforestry and the population wheats which were developed here at Wakelyns.
We’re trying to do that.
A big part of it (for us) is people coming to Wakelyns to run courses and and as a location for their events.
Elsewhere on this website, you can see lots about some of the public events already happening and planned at Wakelyns.
And we are also very open to groups and organisations, such as NGOs, coming here and using our facilities for their meetings and activities, including staying in the Wakelyns farmhouse and our ley alley pods.
