In the 1970’s Wakelyns was a pig farm. The Wakelyns Bakery is in the building where the piglets lives. The sows were in buildings where our tractor barn now sits. And the boar would be in the boar house in the corner of the yard. It is one of the buildings we are renovating. We are hoping it may end up housing, among other things, a small brewery using our own barley and wild hops. All we need now is a brewer!
