We designed and built our 6 ley alley pods specially to use at Wakelyns. Each is on 6 legs so that, using our purpose-built trailer, we can move them around within, and between the ley alleys within our organic rotation. That way, you can enjoy staying right in the middle of the agroforestry, without the farming being compromised in any way – as the different alleys are in cropping or in ley each year, the pods will move round.

Each has double bunk beds (or can be reconfigured on a special request) so they can comfortably accommodate 2 adults with lots of luggage, readily 2 adults and 2 kids, or cozily 4 adults.

Each has an ensuite (cassette) toilet, basin with hot and cold water, mini fridge and hob; with mains electricity and LED lighting. They are very well insulated and, with a small electric heater, warm at any time of year. You’ll have use of a fire-bowl and wood for outdoor cooking when the weather permits.

Showers and conventional toilets are available by the farmyard.

Each space is for one whole pod for  3 nights: 7, 8 and 9 September, allowing to arrive before and leave after the ORFC In The Field Event. If you want to arrive earlier or leave later, please book here and then also email info@wakelyns.co.uk
