In this alley you can see some of our Ley Alley Pods.
We designed and built them as overnight accommodation for people visiting and doing stuff here at Wakelyns.
They are on legs to allow us to move them around (the hydraulic trailer which allows us to do that is around here somewhere!). We move them between and within alleys, always within areas which are part of their ‘fertility building ley’ phase within our 4 year organic rotation. So they are part of our rotation, operating so as not to compromise the underlying farming. We have not turned farm land into a glamping site – we have simply integrated another activity into our farming in accordance with our planning permission.
