Growing veg with RealVeg@Wakelyns – RealVeg produce Organic veg shares (boxes) locally as well as veg to retail and restaurants. Join them for an evening where they will take you on their journey about growing veg within the UKs most diverse agroforestry farm from the beginning to the present day including some history on Wakelyns Farm its self. The presentation will be full of photos and interesting facts with the opportunity to ask questions and purchase any veg or plants available (season dependent).

Tours

Interested in a group tour of Wakelyns? Want to know more about enterprise stacking, organic no dig vegetable growing?

Tours can be tailored to a Wakelyns whole farm focus or a RealVeg – veg growing focus.

Your tour will include the agroforestry alleys, tree lines and ponds; Realveg no dig alleys, caterpillar tunnel, propagation area and composting with more focus on one or the other depending on your choice.

There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and find out about the enterprises that are here and enterprise stacking, short food chains, sustainable food, growing hemp, growing lentils for Hodmedods and YQ wheat that is milled and baked on site at the Wakelyns bakery.
