Here at Wakelyns Veg, we operate within a closed loop farming system, i.e. our fertility inputs are all produced here on the farm.

Our compost is turned regularly in these bays to promote hot, aerobic conditions, ideal for transforming vegetable waste, grass clippings woodchip and wheat straw into vital nutrients and water retaining soil improver for our vegetable beds .
