This is the Wakelyns grain store. Feel free to look inside but please close the door afterwards.

Our rat and mouse proof grain store is where we keep the grain (wheat, barley, oats, etc) and lentils which we have harvested each year for use (including for milling) or for regrowing the following year.

This, of course, is what farm used to do. Conventional farms these days tend to get the harvest off site straight away, and just buy fresh seed to grow each year from a merchant (which keeps them locked into the commodity grain producing world).
