10 June 2022 - 12 June 2022
Across the weekend you’ll rotate through 3 different woody workshops with Nick from The Gosman Spoon Co. and Fay, The Woodland Haberdasher where you will get to try out a variety of carving techniques, tools and woods. Expect to make a wide and beautiful array of utensils and artistic creations. Find a style to suit you, increase your tool confidence and don’t be afraid to experiment and let your imagination run wild.
In the fourth workshop, under the careful tuition of Clare from Wayside Pottery , you will be using wild clay harvested from Wakelyns to throw your own bowl or pot. These will be fired and glazed, then posted out to you after the event (can’t rush good clay!), later in the summer. The whole weekend is camping and catering included! Henrietta and Maisie of the Wakelyns Bakery will be serving dinner on Friday night, and a two-course lunch on Saturday and Sunday. All food is provided for DIY breakfasts in the Outside Kitchen and a BBQ on Saturday night.
Camping is included in the ticket price, or you can upgrade to one of the farm’s glamping pods for an extra £100 for the weekend (each pod sleeps up to 4). There is also one ground floor accessible room available, please contact direct for details.
On Saturday you’ll be able to take a pleasant early evening stroll with Paul, the farm’s arboriculturist, to learn more about the trees and agro-forestry system at Wakelyns or feel free to simply chill out and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Later in the evening join us in the farmyard for a BBQ and acoustic live music, fire bowl and fun.
SpoonStock officially comes to a close on Sunday afternoon but you are welcome to stay on for another evening, camping pitch and dinner for an additional £35.
Ticket includes all materials, catering and camping for 2 nights and your very own SpoonStock t-shirt.
Early bird tickets are available until 31st January 2022 for £295 per person, after 31st January £345. This is an adult only event, no under 18’s.
If you book during the Early Bird period we’ll send you out a ‘Further Information’ form at the start of February, so you can tell us out about t-shirt sizes, dietary requirements and musical preferences.
