DESCRIPTION:Chris Park is a master skeppist\, and skep beekeeper\, who live
 s on an organic farm in the Vale of the White Horse\, Oxfordshire. He expl
 ores ancient technologies\, experimental archaeology and runs educational 
 courses which include raising awareness of the heritage of beekeeping. He 
 is also part of the Nest Collective.\n\nChris will teach us to craft a str
 aw skep - the ancient\, iconic beehive depicted at Britannia’s feet on t
 he old penny. Chris will bring his own organic straw for us to work with (
 in future we hope to use Wakelyns straw).\n\nYou will leave with about hal
 f of your skep done\, and with all the tools\, materials and skills to fin
 ish your skep at home\, and the knowledge of how to welcome bees to it.\n\
 nThe cost is £95 for the day\, including a delicious Wakelyns Bakery lunc
