 d to announce a Biochar Making Course with the wonderful Peni Ediker\, tak
 ing place on Saturday 14th March\, 10:30am–4:30pm here at Wakelyns\n\nPe
 ni runs a thriving market garden and orchard from her One Planet Developme
 nt smallholding in Carmarthenshire\, where she and her partner are self-su
 fficient in fruit and vegetables. She is also a commercial grower for Wale
 s Seed Hub and The Real Seed Catalogue\, supporting the preservation of re
 silient\, open-pollinated seed varieties for local growers.\n\nWith a deep
  understanding of soil microbiology\, Peni specialises in regenerative gro
 wing methods using biochar\, inoculated composts\, and biofertilisers\, wh
 ich she has successfully trialled from garden scale through to larger farm
  systems. She is a passionate and experienced educator\, teaching courses 
 in permaculture\, sustainable horticulture\, biofertiliser production\, an
 d biochar.\n\nThe course will cover:\n\n 	Biochar production from small ga
 rden to farm scale\n 	How to inoculate biochar effectively\n 	Making a ran
 ge of biological inoculants\n\nLunch is provided by Silva - seasonal tarts
 \, salads\, and delicious sweet treats. All made from scratch with menus i
 nspired by Wakelyns produce and carefully chosen local ingredients from ou
 r favourite suppliers.
